This is my go-to coffee shop. It's a long-standing neighborhood fixture: I remember coming here as a grad student in 2005 and I'm still coming here on my way to work in 2021. They have a great pastry selection and delicious espresso-based drinks (which is all I ever want so I have not tried their tea or brewed coffee).
Very neighbor-friendly place! Feels like my own dining room table! There are plenty of options to choose from. The cinnamon rolls are delicious. As a non coffee tea person, they have an extensive list of teas.
This place is a Pittsburgh icon. The vibe is right. It's an established gathering place. A good spot to do some work, or meet up with a friend. I wish the food menu was a little broader. I really don't want sweet baked goods, like cookies and cinnamon rolls. A breakfast sandwich would be nice, but that's my problem, not the establishment. Stop in. Relax. Have a nosh. Have a discussion, maybe.
This cafe is excellent - good light, great snacks (cookies is what I've focused on really, so great cookies), good coffee, working high speed wifi, not too noisy or too quiet and good ambiance. also the prices are very reasonable. Related to that, it is cash only, though, keep that in mind!
Excellent coffee - no gimmicks. Good pastries, many made in house every morning. BEST muffins in the city - freshly made, big, full of fruit, not sweet. Relaxed atmosphere inside or in the patio/garden. Good vibes!
Great staff and modestly priced. Comfortable patio for the summer and warm indoor atmosphere for the winter. Quieter cafe, good for reading or computer work, although seats are really packed in. However, this makes it much easier to get a seat than at other nearby places. Additionally, there are plenty of power outlets which patrons share peacefully, which reinforces that this is a great place to get work done.
To be honest this is the best coffee I have ever had the manager Keith is the most wonderful person food is amazing drinks are outstanding and overall I love this place if I could give it 1000 stars I would.
I really enjoyed my visit this café. I had my usual café Americano and my fiancé had a latte. The outdoor seating is a really nice option and is very cozy. It’s dog friendly as well. I was very pleased with the service here. The staff was extra friendly and very accommodating. The service was fast and accurate. The atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable. You would definitely like it here. I can’t recommend this location highly enough. I would definitely come back here for the great service and atmosphere. You certainly will not be disappointed with this wonderful establishment. Definitely stop by if you are in the neighborhood. I definitely will.
Friendly service. Excellent coffee and freshly baked products. I got their oatmeal raisin cookie, which was very good. Adequate seating space to meet friends or so your work. Convenient location off Forbes Avenue and Murray. Adjacent to bus stop. Accessible by wheelchair.
We have been going here for over 20 years and it's still awesome and the coffee is so good - always consistent. Rose latte is a must try.
